t.A.T.u.’s former director, Leonid Dzyunik, reminisced about t.A.T.u. in his VK post:
November 17, 2000. Through Ivan Shapovalov’s invitation I started working as the deputy director of Neformat, t.A.T.u.’s director.
At that point the video for “Ya Soshla S Uma” had just appeared on MTV. There was nothing yet. I had to prepare a rider, which had written into it a third pillow for the bed and buckwheat with homemade chicken cutlets for Julia’s breakfast.
The first discussion with Universal and Sony.
Preparing for the shooting of “Nas Ne Dagoniat”, the first performance in Moscow, the first tour in Odessa, before which I had to hold up the plane for 2 hours and 20 minutes at the Vnukovo airport.
Getting ready for concerts, the first dancers. At the beginning it was boys, and in the end four of the best girls in the world.
But this is all in the past! 20 years!
Tell me, could t.A.T.u. have existed today?
