All About Us

They say they don’t trust
You, me, we, us
So we’ll fall if we must
Cause it’s you, me
And it’s all about, it’s all about

It’s all about us, all about us
It’s all about, all about us
All about us
There’s a thing that they can’t touch
‘Cause ya know (Ah-ah)
It’s all about us, all about us
It’s all about, all about us
All about us
We’ll run away if we must
‘Cause ya know
It’s all about us (It’s all about us)
It’s all about us (It’s all about us)
In you, I can trust (It’s all about us)
It’s all about us

If they hurt you
They hurt me too
So we’ll rise up
Won’t stop
And it’s all about, it’s all about

It’s all about us, all about us
It’s all about, all about us
All about us
There’s a thing that they can’t touch
‘Cause ya know (Ah-ah)
It’s all about us, all about us
It’s all about, all about us
All about us
We’ll run away if we must
‘Cause ya know
It’s all about us (It’s all about us)
It’s all about us (It’s all about us)
In you, I can trust (It’s all about us)
It’s all about us

They don’t know
They can’t see
Who we are
Fear is the enemy
Hold on tight
Hold on to me
‘Cause tonight

It’s all about us
It’s all about, all about us
There’s a thing that they can’t touch
‘Cause ya know (Ah-ah)

It’s all about us, all about us
It’s all about, all about us
All about us
There’s a thing that they can’t touch
‘Cause ya know (Ah-ah)
It’s all about us, all about us
It’s all about, all about us
All about us
We’ll run away if we must
‘Cause ya know
It’s all about us (It’s all about us)
It’s all about us (It’s all about us)
In you, I can trust (It’s all about us)
It’s all about us
It’s all about us

Chart Position Details

Universal’s European, Asian and Latin American offices (in the USA everything turned out differently) as well as Julia and Lena themselves truly worked to make the single “All About Us” a worldwide hit. In Europe the single was released on September 23rd, three weeks after Japan.

In 2005 the band traveled twice only to France: September 14th to Paris and From November 16-19th to Paris and Lille. In September the band came to present the single and in November to present the album “Dangerous & Moving” in the largest Virgin Store at the Louvre Museum.

In England the song “All About Us” began to pick up momentum pretty quickly: it was released on September 26th, and a week prior, on September 17th, the band flew in for a club concert in London’s “Glam As You” as well as spent the whole week in the UK making one promo visit after another.

The results did not take long to come – the song entered the top 10 in UK’s national chart, reaching 8th place. However, the sudden change of their manager and t.A.T.u. not returning to the UK to promote the release of “Dangerous and Moving” sent the first and all subsequent singles of the band into a steep dive: reaching 8th place on October 3rd, on October 10th the song drops to 19th place, and on October 17th down to 37th place.

The unsecured success of t.A.T.u.’s comeback single in the second most important music market in the world, with unimaginable potential (reaching 8th place after 2 weeks of being released and the first promo visit in 2 years where t.A.T.u. held 1st place on the national chart for a record 4 weeks in 2003), did not leave the opportunity for the “Dangerous & Moving” album to win people’s love in foggy Great Britain. Only a small amount of music lovers found out about the album, which peaked at 78th place.
